Daniel H. Yeh, or Shih Hsuing is
the son of two nations noted for their prowess with fireworks. His
mother is Japanese and his father, an eminent surgeon, Chinese.
He decided early in life to devote his efforts to painting and in
his youth travelled the world visiting as many galleries and museums
as he could.
Despite the early days as a typical
'struggling artist' Daniel has achieved considerable success and
his paintings are sold all over the world, although often not attributed.
He also now runs a studio to develop the talents of younger artists,
often by reproducing the works of old masters with astonishing accuracy.
This gives the student a unique insight into the original artist's
creative talent and technique.
As well as fireworks, Daniel's themes
reflect his interest in world heritage and include paintings of
many well-known landmarks, buildings, ancient monuments and so
on, and works focussing on heritage topics.
