Fireworks which depict signs, symbols or logos, or which spell out names or messages are known as lancework.

They are built on a framework and use small fireworks called lances to spell out the message in small, bright points of light.

Design and Build
Every piece of lancework is designed and built to order. It has to be large, for visibility, and it is fairly fragile.

Use
When you receive the lancework it must be unpacked carefully, and will have to be attached to two or more stout posts - nails or cable ties will do.

There is a single fuse to light and the ignition will spread across the lances, revealing the image as the lances catch light.

The lancework wll burn for about a minute before fading and dying.

Most users of course, have other fireworks at the same time as the lancework is burning to emphasise the message.

Standard lancework uses lettering about 30cm / 12" high

Estimate on a cost of £15 per letter + £25 delivery, e.g. 'GOODNIGHT' £160, 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' £220. Symbols, logos etc by quotation.

Delivery is usually 7-10 working days from receipt of order.
