Rockets - new packaging for bigger rockets

For a little while it looked as if 2008 would be the last year that we could sell some of the bigger rockets. New transport regulations meant that it appeared almost impossible to devise packaging to satisfy their requirements.

Solutions have evolved though, but it means that we, the supplier have have had to devise some seriously industrial packaging and this means that you, the customer will have to do your bit, and be prepared to go that little bit further when it comes to unpacking.

Rockets are after all, a perennial favourite and we know that you'd hate to be without them. So here's what you need to do:

There's nothing you'll need that can't be found in most households and if you haven't got both of these items, a trip to any good hardware store or garden centre will see you right.

You'll need:

1. Some good gardening gloves. The sort that will cope with thorns, and preferably gauntlet-style, to protect your wrists.

2. Some snippers. Metal-workers' tin-snips are ideal but OK, you might not have these lying around. Garden secateurs will work fine, although you need the bypass type with the scissor-action blades, not the anvil style ones. Also, there are plenty of heavy-duty scissors around these days. Many kitchen, craft or general-purpose scissors will do.
